Somatic therapy can help rewire the brain's neural pathways. It gets you out of survival mode and into a conscious state of emotional balance. It can help you take back your life from negative thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Somatic therapy uses mind-body techniques to release the pent-up tension to help you heal emotional pain on a cellular level.
This therapy combines body-centered awareness with horse attunement activities such as grooming and walking. It will help you not only become more aware of your body sensations, but also that of the horses. To help you become more in tune with your own body and emotions, and learn to regulate them.
Sand tray is an embodied therapy practice where you create a somatic awareness of your own inner self through use of symbolic figures. The sand tray allows you not only to see, but to also feel your emotional state and identify ways to make long lasting changes to improve your life and build meaning.
Using the mind-body connections sound vibrations from instruments including drums, crystal sound bowls, and gongs are used to create positives shifts mentally, physically, and energetically. Sound healing has been shown to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and decrease blood pressure. At times, sounds healing can lead to an altered state of consciousness.
Eco therapy is a therapeutic practice that recognizes the intrinsic bond between humans and nature. It acknowledges that nature has the capacity to heal, restore, and rejuvenate us on many levels. We will present multiple experiences to help you heal through connection with the retreats beautiful surrounding. Include hiking, labyrinth walk, and other outdoor options
Breathwork practices can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for our relaxation response. Free form movement and tremoring help to enhance body awareness and release of physical and emotional burdens we may be holding. Body awareness through meditation, yoga, and movement can help use reduce self-judgement and negative thoughts.
